Job Title:

Storage Systems Installation Supervisor

We are immediately hiring an Installation Supervisor to supervise a high performing team and participate in installations of innovative, high efficiency storage systems at customer sites within a 90 mile radius of Emmaus, PA. To learn more about these systems please visit our Storage Systems site.

These installations take up roughly 70% of the time. The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for a team of two to six and working on all facets of storage system installations.

 

The remaining 15% of the time would be spent at customer sites within the same area doing service and preventative maintenance (PM's) on these systems; 15% would be spent at our office in Emmaus, PA doing service, PM's and other things to assist our Conversion Services department.

 

Position

  • Status: Full time

  • Hours: Monday to Friday - Typical hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Location: Home office in Emmaus, PA and customer sites within a 90 mile radius - no overnight travel required other than a few days for training

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Storage System Installations

  • Overall - Working with the Project Manager, ensure that project is installed according to manufacturer instructions and conforms to required design, specifications, customer requirements, budget and schedule 

  • Participate in the analysis, estimating and planning of installations

  • Work with Project Manager to plan staff, equipment, tools and supplies required for upcoming installations

  • At start of installations, review project specifications and customer requirements and finalize schedule

  • Track and receive material deliveries; resolve discrepancies and damages

  • Ensure that installation team is fully productive - Supervise team including training, coaching, and development; ensuring that installation procedures are followed; ensure that work is done in a standardized, consistent manner

  • Work with the team on projects 

  • Communicate with Project Manager during installations as needed and act as onsite point of contact for customer and other contractors

  • Maintain a safe, organized, clean jobsite. Responsible for jobsite safety

Service and Maintenance at Customer Sites

  • Perform troubleshooting tasks required for repairs

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment 

Work at Reynolds office

  • Assist with installing and maintaining equipment in our Conversion Services department

  • Other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Must pass mandatory background checks and drug screenings

  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • High school diploma. Technical/trade training or college degree preferred

  • Must have a reliable vehicle

 

Requirements

  • Must possess an analytical thought process and solid problem solving/troubleshooting skills

  • Must have good mechanical skills

  • Must be able to read and follow manufacturer installation instructions

  • Experience in commercial construction a plus

  • Must have effective communication skills to be able to motivate team and interact well with customers, other contractors, vendors, etc.

  • Must be very organized and have excellent attention to detail

  • Must be able to do physical work and lift up to 75 pounds

  • Must have basic computer skills
