The V-shaped cradle allows books to be scanned face-up at angles between 120-180 degrees, distributing weight evenly without putting pressure on the spine. This non-destructive approach preserves bindings—critical for rare, fragile, or archival materials that would be damaged by flatbed scanning.
V1A-C35 is for thick, oversized books (up to 19.5" thick, A1+ size). V1A is the flagship for large format (A1+) without the motorized thick-book capability. V2 is a cost-effective A2+ scanner for general use. V3 is the most compact (A3+), ideal for self-service library environments. All models feature V-cradle technology.
