Consider the heaviest items you'll store. Light-duty (250 lbs/shelf) suits files and light supplies. Medium-duty (500 lbs/shelf) handles most warehouse applications. Heavy-duty (750+ lbs/shelf) is for industrial parts, tools, and heavy inventory. We always recommend some buffer above your actual needs.

We offer both. Many clients prefer our professional installation—we assemble, level, and anchor everything so it's ready to use. For boltless and rivet shelving, some clients prefer to self-install to save costs. Either way, we provide detailed assembly instructions and support.

Both assemble without tools, but they work differently. Rivet shelving uses Z-beams that connect with rivets—you tap them with a rubber mallet. Boltless shelving uses clips that snap onto posts. Boltless typically handles heavier loads; rivet shelving is more economical. Both are easy to adjust and reconfigure.

NSF-certified wire shelving is required by health codes for commercial food storage. The open wire design allows air circulation (critical in refrigeration), makes spills visible, and prevents dust accumulation. It's also required for healthcare supply storage in many facilities.
