Job Title:
Storage Systems Installation Specialist
Position Summary:
Working as an integral part of our high-performing installation team, you’ll install, maintain and repair the high-efficiency storage systems that we sell to manufacturers, healthcare, government as well as many other industries, helping them to significantly improve the efficiency of their operations.
These systems include automated vertical carousels and lifts, modular structures including cleanrooms, movable and stationary shelving, pallet racking, cabinets, lockers and more. No experience is necessary – we’ll teach you what you need to know - but you must be mechanically inclined, skilled with tools and eager to learn.

Status: Full time

Hours: Monday to Friday - Typical hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Location: Home office in Emmaus, PA and customer sites within a 90 mile radius - no overnight travel required other than a few days for training
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Once trained, have in-depth knowledge of all storage systems
-
At the beginning of each project, familiarize yourself with the design, specifications and customer requirements
-
Assist with receiving and staging material deliveries; helping to resolve discrepancies and damages
-
Install equipment following installation instructions, drawings and standard procedures and building practices
-
Effectively and safely utilize hand and power tools, material handling equipment, aerial lifts and other devices
-
Help to maintain a safe, organized, clean jobsite

On existing equipment, perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs as needed
Required Qualifications:
-
A valid driver's license and clean driving record

Must pass background checks and drug screenings
-
Must have a reliable vehicle

Must possess an analytical thought process and solid problem solving/troubleshooting skills

Must be mechanically inclined and skilled with hand and power tools
-
Must be able to read and follow technical installation instructions and drawings
-
Must have the stamina and strength needed to assemble products including frequently lifting/moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds

Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently
Preferred Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED, technical/trade training or college degree preferred

Construction, electrical, HVAC, mechanical and/or installation knowledge/experience a plus
