Documents over 11x17 are separated during preparation and scanned on our Contex wide-format scanners. We handle engineering drawings, blueprints, and maps up to 42" wide with unlimited length. Output can be PDF, TIFF, or CAD-compatible formats.

Standard PDF is great for most uses. PDF/a (archival) is a self-contained format with embedded fonts—it can't be altered and will display identically forever. PDF/a is required for PHMC compliance and recommended for permanent records. We offer both PDF/a-1a (full accessibility) and PDF/a-1b (basic archival) formats.

You decide. We can return originals after scanning, store them temporarily, or securely destroy them with certificate of destruction.
